Seymour Hall Hosts Temperley London Fashion Show

Seymour Hall was recently graced with the presence of over 700 fashion lovers, journalists and celebrities, including actors Damian Lewis and Helen McCrory, for the Temperley London Winter 2018 Collection. A grade II listed building from the 1930s, Seymour Hall provided the ideal backdrop for such a glamourous affair. Boasting many striking art deco features, the tiered balconies provided plenty of seating centred around the spacious event space with the catwalk commanding full attention in the middle of the hall. Ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day were Inca Productions who brought the whole event together expertly.

Temperley London was founded by Alice Temperley (MBE) in 2000, a year after graduating from the Royal College of Art. Epitomised by modern bohemianism, Alice pioneer’s artisan techniques and intricate hand-worked embellishment and counts the Duchess of Cambridge as a fan; Kate chose Temperley for her first royal engagement in 2010 and has championed her ever since.

The Winter Collection was a tribute to pioneering aviatrixes who inspired women around the world to defy convention which is a timely subject matter given the several high-profile, female led movements in the press currently. The collection, covering day, evening and workwear, featured prints emulating starry night skies and graphic embroideries inspired by parachute strings. The colour palette was a nod to the era of film noir; ivy and moss greens with ochre and soft pink hues. Models wore make up by the talented Charlotte Tilbury with ORLY on nails.
