Here we’ll tell you why it’s a fantastic venue not just for stand-out shows like Kylie Minogue’s Spotify gig, but also for corporate award events, weddings and even fashion shoots.
Located in the heart of London, Porchester Hall is a striking building located in Bayswater, Paddington. With its outstanding art-deco designs, sweeping staircase, stand-out marble walls and chandeliers, the venue has an air of grandeur as well as versatility.
To showcase how adaptable the venue can be, Everyone Events recently hosted Everyone Active’s corporate awards celebration at Porchester Hall. By day, the main hall hosted over 400 people for the company’s conference, with a fully serviced refreshment table and selection throughout the event. The venue is ideally suited for this style of corporate presentation as there are various ancillary rooms, ideal for breakout spaces. Then, by night, as everyone donned their glad-rags, the space was transformed into a stunning awards and dinner dance. Porchester Hall’s art-deco signature made the perfect backdrop for the company’s 1920’s themed party, but the décor is suitable for varying tastes and moods.With it’s vast space, the hall hosted over 30 dinner tables with guests mingling throughout the evening. The catering team seamlessly served three stunning courses, with what seemed like an endless supply of drinks provided from the bar at the back of the venue. With the dinner party doubling as an awards presentation, the venue still allowed for space at the front of the hall for the main stage. Once dinner was finished, the front three rows of tables were removed as space was cleared for a huge dancefloor where a live band performed on the stage.
The corporate awards night was ideally suited to the venue, but it is also very apt for large weddings, themed photoshoots, music gigs and fashion shows. Also on site is the Duchess of York Suite, as well as the original 1929 swimming pool and Turkish Spa, which are in high demand among event organisers and film crews alike.
Porchester Hall is within walking distance of Royal Oak, Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations all near Paddington, with easy transport links to all corners of London.
