London Aquatics Centre has plenty of experience in hosting national and international sporting events, as well as more local, community-based competitions. These include  Super League Triathlon, the Aquatics GB Championships, the International Swim League, National Paralympic Day and FINA Diving World Series and more.

Here at London Aquatics Centre, we’ve got everything you need to make your sporting event a complete success, including some of the most advanced swimming facilities in the world. This includes the world-famous 50m Competition Pool, which was used at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It’s 3m deep and 10 lanes wide and capable of welcoming up to 2,500 spectators, making it perfect for swimming competitions of all sorts – from local swimming galas to international matches. With this comes top-of-the-range timing equipment, diving blocks, timing suite, first-rate changing areas and a final call room. It can be hired in conjunction with the Training Pool, which can act as a warm up and cool-down area as well.

Alongside the Training and Competition Pools, we’ve also got the Diving Pool, which features boards and platforms from 1m to 10m, as well as a fully adjustable floor, making it one of the most advanced competitive diving arenas in the world.

Travelling to London Aquatics Centre

It’s usually best to use public transport when coming to and from the centre. There are fantastic transport links via train, underground, overground, bus and even bicycle.

The Elizabeth Line, Central and Jubilee underground lines, London Overground and Network Rail all stop at Stratford Station, which is just a 10-minute walk from the centre. Meanwhile, the London Overground also stops at Hackney Wick, which is a 15-minute walk. Furthermore, for cyclists, there are more than 140 cycle racks outside the centre.

If, however, you’re coming from farther afield, trains from central London (St Pancras International and Kings Cross stations) take just seven minutes to reach Stratford International, which is just a five-minute stroll to the centre. If there’s no option but to drive to London Aquatics Centre, there are 111 parking spaces available.
