The 2024 BetVictor English Open Snooker will run from September 16-22 at The Brentwood Centre in Essex.

Following the huge success of the 2022 and 2023 English Open Snooker being played at The Brentwood Centre, we are delighted to be returning in September for the third consecutive year.  What’s more for 2024 we can confirm that the Qualifiers for The English Open will be hosted in Brentwood, during the week leading up to the main tournament.

Judd Trump won the title in 2023 as he came from 7-3 down to beat Zhang Anda 9-7 in the final. Part of the BetVictor Home Nations Series, the BetVictor English Open has been ever present on the calendar since 2016.  It has been staged in Manchester, Barnsley, Crawley and Milton Keynes before finding a home in Brentwood, Essex.

WST Chairman Steve Dawson said: “Snooker has so much history in Essex and the county has produced some of the best players of all time. If the local fans continue to support this event then Brentwood could become the long term home of the English Open.”

During the 2024/25 season, BetVictor will sponsor the World Snooker Tour’s Home Nations Series, featuring the English Open, Northern Ireland Open, Scottish Open, and Welsh Open. The celebrated BetVictor Bonus will be applicable across these events, with the leading prize winner over the four tournaments earning an extra £150,000.
