Whatever your events requirements, we’re sure to be able to meet them at Washington Leisure Centre.

You can choose from either of our two main events spaces. The first and most spacious of which is our huge sports hall that’s capable of hosting up to 500 people and is perfect for any number of different events. These include anything from community events, sporting tournaments, exhibitions, fairs and product launches, alongside a variety of others.

Secondly, we also have a meeting room that’s ideal for more intimate events such as meetings, seminars and courses. Capable of holding up to 30 people, it’s the ideal venue for these occasions.

Naturally, WiFi is available across the centre, while we also boast a fully-licensed bar and you can even take advantage of our on-site catering facilities.

Alongside all this, we’re also easy to get to. Located just to the east of central Sunderland and just off the A1(M) and just 20 minutes or so by car from Sunderland railway station.
