We here at Houghton Sports Centre have everything you’ll need to make your event – whatever it may be – a fantastic success.

Our sprawling main sports hall is ideal for large events, with a 500-person capacity and regularly hosts all sorts of different events. Our on-site, fully-licenced bar is perfect for celebrations, while we also specialise in live events, corporate events – including awards ceremonies – special occasions and even hold wedding receptions.

We’re also the ideal venue for more compact events, including meetings, conferences and community events. Furthermore, we boast free parking for up to 100 vehicles, while we are easy to get to as well, being set just off the A690, to the south west of Sunderland city centre.
