Hemel Hempstead’s sizable sports hall, with bleacher seating for up to 800, makes it perfect for large sporting events, including basketball matches, dancing, gymnastics, fencing and more. But that’s not all, here at Hemel Hempstead, we’re also experts in hosting swimming galas, fairs, community events and exhibitions, as well as meetings.

We have three primary events spaces available for hire here at Hemel Hempstead. The sports hall is ideal for craft fairs, markets and sporting events. This area can seat up to 800 people, while the maximum capacity of the room itself is 915.

Whether you’re holding a swimming gala or diving competition, our awesome aquatic facilities – in the shape of three pools – have got you covered. We’ve also got an outdoor pool for when the weather smiles on us. Lastly, we also boast a meeting room that’s perfect for team away days, brainstorming sessions and a variety of other occasions. It comes with audio/visual equipment available, WiFi access and catering options, if required.

Situated just outside of London, the venue has fantastic transport links from the capital and from all over the rest of the country. It’s just a 15-minute walk or three-minute taxi ride from Hemel Hempstead Station, while both the M1 and M25 are close by. The centre also boasts plenty of car parking.
