Are you tough enough to take on ICYCLE6? We have partnered up with Cyclezone Studio to put on an indoor cycling event like no other and we are challenging you to step up to the pedal!
ICYCLE6 is a six-hour, fun filled, action packed indoor cycling event in aid of Everyone Active’s deserved national charity Mind. Taking place at Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre in St Albans on Saturday the 3rd of November from 11:00 – 17:00. Whether you are a stalwart indoor cyclist or just fancy giving it a go, this is the perfect event for you as it gives you the chance to get fit whilst helping a great cause at the same time.
We know how to put on an event and ICYCLE6 is no exception. Each hour will see a different world-class presenter take to the stage to put you through your paces. High-energy, pumping music and live entertainment creates a party like atmosphere that keeps spirits high and pedals turning! Each participant will also receive a goody bag and refreshments following the event.
Indoor cycling has gained momentum and popularity over the past few years which has seen numerous studios, including our partners Cyclezone Studio, pop up all over the country. A cardio workout that has the capability to improve body composition, decrease fat mass and help lower blood pressure and cholesterol as well as burn around 600 calories an hour (TIME) all whilst sat in one place, you can see why it is popular.
Our chosen charity Mind for over 70 years has worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they need. With approximately 1 in 4 people experiencing mental health problems at some point in their lives, demands for their services is constantly growing meaning the need for funding is greater than ever.
