With fantastic transport links, unrivalled facilities and tons of experience, Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre is a hugely popular event venue.

Facilities available for event hire include the 501-seat Gordon Craig Theatre, two multi-purpose halls holding 1154 and 700 respectively, meeting rooms and rehearsal studios.

The centre’s scale and versatility have seen it play host to gigs from top comedians and artists such as Jimmy Carr, Jethro, Dionne Warwick and Lesley Garrett, along with sport and dance events, trade fairs, exhibitions, pantomimes and everything in-between.

We’re also experienced and equipped in holding corporate events – from small meetings and seminars to larger conferences, exhibitions, AGMs and award ceremonies. As well as the necessary rooms, we also have all the technical equipment to host such events – both in terms of audio/visual and I.T equipment.

Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre has an extensive licence covering the sale of alcohol, indoor sporting events, films, boxing, live music, late night refreshment and more. Pay-as-you-go and pre-paid drinks packages are available, along with catering options to suit all palates and budgets.

Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre has superb transport links. It’s just a five-minute drive from the A1(M) and a one-minute walk from Stevenage Railway and Bus Station, with trains into Kings Cross St Pancras taking just 20 minutes.
