The Eric Morecambe Centre - Event Venue Hire in Harpenden

The Eric Morecambe Centre in Harpenden opened its doors in October 2021 and has already become a cultural, entertainment and event hub at the heart of the community.

Set within the glorious surroundings of Rothamsted Park, The Eric Morecambe Centre includes a 511-seat theatre, two function rooms, a bar and a coffee shop.

We regularly host live music, tribute acts, comedy, theatre productions, school concerts and an annual Christmas Pantomime. You can find out what’s on here.

Our function rooms provide the perfect venue for private parties including birthdays, christenings, engagements, baby showers, wakes and wedding celebrations. The Eric Morecambe Centre also regularly hosts corporate meetings and a variety of community events.

The venue is easily reachable via car and train. Harpenden Station – which is half an hour from St Pancras – is a five-minute walk away, while the M1 is nearby too.
